FAQ
Mobile Apps — common questions
- For most product apps, React Native and Expo deliver native-feeling UX with one codebase, one team, and one release cadence — at a fraction of the cost of two native teams. We pick fully native only when the product depends on platform-specific APIs that React Native can't expose well.
- We design data layers that assume the network is hostile. MMKV for fast local storage, queue-and-replay for write operations, and explicit conflict resolution rules per entity. Users can use the app on an airplane and never notice.
- Yes. We handle the metadata, screenshots, privacy declarations, and the back-and-forth with App Review. You'll usually have a green review on the first or second submission, not the fifth.
- Mobile app infrastructure is cheap if you set it up right. Expected monthly cost for a typical SaaS-grade app: ~$50–$200 for crash and analytics, ~$0–$100 for push, and EAS Build credits when you ship a release. Backend infra is separate.
