QA Automation Engineer
Develop automated tests, improve release quality, and help engineering teams deliver dependable software.
Full-timeMid-LevelRemote (EU timezones) or KosovoFuture opportunity
This is not an open vacancy. Registering interest does not start a hiring process. We keep the note and write if the role opens.
About the role
You would write the automated checks that tell the team whether a change is safe to release. The work sits with the engineers building the product, not as a separate stage after they are finished.
What you'll do
- Add automated tests around the flows that are expensive to break
- Keep the suite reliable enough that a failure means something regressed
- When a check fails, report what broke and how to reproduce it
- Help the engineer who owns a change add coverage before it merges
- Call out untested permissions, missing states, and checks that fail for no reason
What you bring
- You have written automated tests for a web application other people use
- You are comfortable with Playwright, Cypress, or a Python test framework
- You can read application code well enough to see what a change affects
- You can tell a useful assertion from a brittle one
- Your bug reports include the steps, what you expected, and what you saw
Bonus, not required
- API tests alongside UI tests
- A suite you wired into CI
- Basic accessibility checks
